What Are Dithiocarbamate Accelerators?

Dithiocarbamate accelerators are super speed accelerators. The activation temperature is low, the vulcanization speed is fast, and the degree of crosslinking is high. But easy to scorch, poor flatness, improper vulcanization operation, easy to cause under-sulfur or over-sulfur. Suitable for fast vulcanized thin products, room temperature vulcanized products, latex products and sulfur vulcanized products of butyl rubber and EPDM rubber. The most active of such accelerators is ammonium salt, followed by sodium salt and potassium salt, which are all water-soluble accelerators and are used in latex products. These three types of salts are not suitable for dry glue production due to their high activity, poor scorching resistance and flatness.
