Build stronger bones
From a structural standpoint, silica helps to stimulate the cells that help build bones by increasing protein collagen synthesis (osteoblasts). Giving the bones additional strength and flexibility, so you can withstand the stress a fall has on the body.
Not only does it help with bone strength and flexibility, but it also helps to inhibit your bone-resorbing cells by discouraging bone resorption (osteoclasts). Silica encourage calcium absorption and also prevent calcium seepage from your bone tissue into your blood. The more calcium within the bones, the stronger they become.
