Domestic Production Of APIs

The cumulative output of chemical APIs in the country from January to December 2011 increased by 23.33% over the same period of the previous year, an increase of 9.35 percentage points over the growth rate of the same period of the previous year; the output of chemical APIs in December decreased by 240000 tons compared with the output in November, an increase of -0.87% compared with November. The growth rate of the production of chemical APIs from January to December continued to remain high, with a cumulative output of 2.8987 million tons, an increase of 23.33% over the same period of the previous year, an increase of 9.35 percentage points over the same period of the previous year, and a slight decrease of 0.55 percentage points from the growth rate of January to November. From the data of the month of December, the output of chemical APIs in the country was 272,300 tons, a year-on-year increase of 28.84%, an increase of 37.61 percentage points over the growth rate of the same period last year, a rise of 1.53 percentage points from the increase in November, a decrease of 02,400 tons from the output in November, and an increase of -0.87% from November.
