The role of dithiocarbamate accelerators

It is usually obtained by the reaction of carbon disulfide, secondary amine and organic base or inorganic base. It is an acid accelerator with high activity and is known as a super accelerator. Generally used for rapid vulcanization and low temperature vulcanization products. Among them, ammonium dithiocarbamate, sodium, and potassium are water-soluble accelerators, which are mostly used as vulcanization accelerators for latex products; the promotion activity of zinc dithiocarbamate is lower than that of ammonium salts, and it has a certain degree of activity in dry rubber compounds. It is safe to operate and has a strong activation effect on ammonium, sodium and potassium dithiocarbamate accelerators in thiazoles, thiurams and latex. It is also the most commonly used variety of dithiocarbamate accelerators. The main varieties include zinc dimethyldithiocarbamate (PZ), zinc diethyldithiocarbamate (ZDC), zinc dibutyldithiocarbamate (BZ), ethylphenyl dithiocarbamate Zinc formate (PX), etc.
