6. Shore hardness

7. Tear resistance

When rubber products are used, if there is a crack, it will be torn more and more and lead to the final scrap. Therefore, tear resistance is also a very important mechanical property index for rubber products. Tear resistance is usually measured by tear resistance value, which refers to the unit thickness (cm) of rubber, the force required when the incision is torn until it is torn, and its unit is N/cm. Of course, the larger the value, the better.

 

8. Adhesion and adhesion strength

The force required for separation between the two binding surfaces of rubber products (such as glue and cloth layer or cloth layer and cloth layer) is called adhesion. The size of the adhesion force is usually measured by the adhesion strength, which is expressed by the external force required per unit width when the specimen is separated between the two bonding surfaces, and the calculation unit is N/cm or N/2.5cm. Adhesion strength is an important mechanical property index to measure rubber products made of cotton or other fiber fabrics as skeleton materials, and its value is of course the larger the better.

 

9. Number of flexural stripping

Referred to as the number of flexure, refers to the number of flexure times that the specimen is completely stripped between the two joint surfaces after repeated flexure, and the calculation unit is "times/full stripping". This is a quality index to measure the dynamic fatigue performance of rubber products. The number of bending of the general transport belt should not be less than 20,000 times.

 

10. Wear loss

It is also called wear reduction, is the main quality index to measure the wear resistance of rubber materials, its measurement and expression methods are many. At present, China mostly uses Akron abrasion test method, which is to make the rubber (rubber wheel) in a certain tilt Angle (15°) and a certain load (2.72kg) under the action of standard hardness grinding wheel (78° Shaw) friction, determination of rubber in a certain stroke (1km or 1.61km) within the wear amount, Expressed as cm³/1km or cm³/1.61km. The smaller the value, the better the wear resistance of the rubber.
