5. Vulcanizing agent

5.1 Common sulfur: yellow powder, light color, generally used 200 mesh;
5.2 Insoluble sulfur: yellow powder, dark color, according to the amount of different grades. At present, the main rubber materials for radial tires are HS OT 20 and IS6033.
5.3 Zinc-80: Used as vulcanizing agent in BIIR and CIIR compound. Such as LIB and LTM-2 compound.
6. Active agent
Function: improve the vulcanization reactivity, accelerate the vulcanization speed, increase the vulcanization modulus, etc. Mainly: zinc oxide, stearic acid.
7. Accelerators
Function: It can reduce the vulcanization reaction temperature, increase the vulcanization reaction speed between sulfur and rubber, shorten the vulcanization time, and improve the physical properties of vulcanized rubber. Mainly: NS (white to pink or slightly yellow powder), NOBS (yellow particles), DZ (light white or brown-yellow powder, particles), CZ (light white or brown-yellow powder), HEXA-80 (white particles), DM (milk yellow powder) and so on.
8. Antiscorch agent
Function: Prolong the scorch time, does not affect the vulcanization speed, can effectively ensure the processing safety of the rubber material. Mainly: CTP, magnesium oxide (only in the rubber containing butyl rubber plays a role).
9. Adhesive
Function: Improve the binding force of rubber and skeleton materials (steel cord, fiber cord, bead wire, etc.), improve the modulus of rubber. Mainly: resorcinol (white flake), cobalt salt (currently cobalt caprate, blue purple particles), RA (about 35% white carbon black and 65% HMMM mixture, white powder).
10. Reinforcing agent
Function: Increase the hardness of vulcanized rubber. Mainly: solid phenolic reinforced resin (SP6701), high styrene resin (S6H) and so on.
11. Tackifier
Function: Increase the process stickiness of semi-finished products. There are mainly: octyl phenolic tackiness resin (SP1068), tert-butyl phenolic tackiness resin (Koresin), C5 petroleum resin and so on.
12. Coupling agent
Function: In the material containing white carbon black, participate in the vulcanization reaction of white carbon black and rubber, improve the physical property of the material, reduce the viscosity of the material, and improve the process performance.
13. Homogenizer
Function: Improve the blending performance between different polar rubber, such as: natural rubber and butyl rubber, halogenated butyl rubber, or improve the dispersion of halogenated butyl rubber and carbon black.
14. Plasticizer
Function: Reduce the viscosity of natural rubber, improve the processing performance, generally added before adding carbon black and small materials, or added alone in plasticizing.
